Top 3 Eiffel Tower Photo Spots

You can’t visit Paris without taking in the sights of the iconic Eiffel Tower. Located in the 7th arrondissement on the Champ De Mars, The Eiffel Tower is a symbol of Paris and makes a beautiful photo opportunity. Here’s my top 3 photo spots to get the best shots with the Iron Lady herself, all within walking distance of each other!

Trocadéro

First stop, Trocadéro – with panoramic views of the Eiffel Tower, Trocadéro is easily the best place to snap the perfect shot with the tower in the background. Trocadéro is a large space which offers plenty of spots where you can get different angles of the Eiffel Tower in your photos, including the main square, the stairs leading down to the gardens, and the walls overlooking the gardens.

Trocadéro is a popular tourist spot and is often very busy, making it difficult to get a photo without lots of people in the background. I recommend going at sunrise to avoid the crowds and get a great shot of the sun rising by the Eiffel Tower.

Avenue De Camoens

Only a 5 minute walk from Trocadéro is a Avenue De Camoens; a quiet dead-end street with spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower peaking over the Paris skyline. This is one of my favourite places to get a photo with the Eiffel Tower as it’s often much less crowded than Trocadéro and the additional details of the Parisian street frame the scene beautifully.

Pont De Bir-Hakeim

A 15 minute walk from Avenue De Camoens is the Bir-Hakeim bridge, which offers gorgeous views across the river Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background. This is a popular spot for wedding photographers and you will often see newly weds taking their couples portraits on the bridge!

The bridge has a platform in the middle which is a great spot to get pictures sitting on the wall with the Eiffel Tower behind. Another great angle is to use the arches of the bridge to frame your shot with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
